Introducing Sands

We are excited to introduce Sands: a Max For Live Device modeling and abusing an 8-bit converter.

From Saturator to Roar, Ableton has long been a playground for distortion — and we thought Sands would be perfect companion to bring the flavor circuit bent hardware, and we hope you’ll find subtle to not-so-subtle ways to creative distortion.

Sands is Rainbow Circuits second collaborative development — with Dr. Ryan Page, a mad scientist of electronic music.

Revisiting Peaks

We’ve heard the echos of Peaks, our first VST/AU plug-in released in January from the corners of the internet. From the botanical to the post-apocalyptical, many of you have shared videos of your works in progress using Peaks.

We’d love to hear any feedback on the user experience for version 1.0.1!

Whats Next?

We're hard at work on a very peculiar drum synth — a bit moldy, a bit membrane-y.

There’s still plenty of code to be stitched and more graphics to be colored in, but in the meantime, we can share some fun 3D spherical visuals with you all!
