Burnmarks | Sample Pack

Burnmarks is a texture sample pack. It starts with a Max/MSP additive synthesizer patch, colliding sine waves together using generatively produced envelopes.

The signal is then resampled through a cassette tape at a high amplitude — burning off the digital pops and clicks and gently toasting the low-mids.

The sample pack contains the following:

40 Dry sounds — texture loops recorded straight from Max to tape.

20 Ambient sounds — passed through a modulating convolution reverb before tape. 80 One Shots — short envelope bursts.

Burnmarks is a collection of dry squeals, inharmonic chaos and mind-crackling textures.
